Inside the package, you should only expect to receive a brand new remote controller. Upon getting your hands on a DJI Phantom 4 remote controller, you will need to link it to the drone. To initiate the linking process, please follow these steps:
- Set mode to RC located on the drone
- Initiate a connection to the drone
- Wait for the link to establish
- Once the link is established, you can start flying
Since the linking process works exactly as you would do with a brand new remote controller. You must have both drones and remote controller primed for establishing connection first. Doing so ensures you have a working linked remote controller.
