The design of intelligent flight battery resembles a similar appearance to the original Mavic Pro. However, the LED indicators has been changed around the power button and is slightly bigger.
The company claimed that the Mavic 2 intelligent flight battery has a maximum flight time of 31 minutes in optimized conditions. This is the best flight time we’ve seen to this date from DJI for a prosumer drone. While it isn’t a major improvement from its predecessor, but any additional flight minutes are valuable when it comes to flying the drones.
Just like the original Mavic Pro, the batteries come with a secure and reliable fit on the drone. To install the battery, you need to insert on the drone until you feel/hear the click that lets you know the battery is secured. To remove the battery, just pinch both release buttons to do so. Never install or remove the battery while it is on.
The battery can be easily turned on / off by simply holding down the power button. To inspect the health status of the battery, just tap the power button once, and LED indicators will show up.
