The specifications for the new drone are entirely new and something that isn’t typically seen in the consumer market before. Which will stir up a competition with DJI as the U.S-based drone manufacturer plans to lead the path against Chinese-based drone manufacturers?

In case you missed the mouth-watering specifications that this drone brings to the table. It will feature an interchangeable gimbal module that will let you choose from 6K video from a 1-inch Sensor to 8K video in combination with a thermal camera. The fact that this drone lets you pick whatever is the best fit for your needs makes it an extremely formidable drone.

As far as the pricing of the new drone is concerned, there is no information regarding it yet. But we have a hunch it is going to be a very expensive foldable camera drone. Most likely in the $2,000 to $3,000 price range due to several new advanced features that DJI Mavic 2 Pro / Mavic 2 Zoom lacks. Although, the new drone will prove to be a very popular option among recreational and professional remote pilots in terms of performance and flexibility.

The earthquake at DJI consumer division was caused by the upcoming release of Autel EVO 2 drone. Which took many of the DJI managers and specialists off the guard and they were not happy about it at all. In contrast, the introduction of a new drone has brought smiles to many remote pilots. This will certainly break the stalemate and the iron grip that DJI has on the consumer market as the race for quality begins.
